That is a steep price. I think I paid about $40 for the 8 film collection on WowHD and the remake Blu-ray really cheap years ago.

Hey Cev. I was quoting the price on the EzyDVD link that you posted. I mis-read your post asking whether it was Kicks website. Too much red wine tonight mate. I'm so sorry. This is why I am a long-time member but have such a low post count (0.33 per day lol). I mess up a lot. My apologies.

It's all good mate, I know where the confusion is. In the post of mine that you originally responded to, I mentioned 2 different retailers, Ezydvd and Kicks.com.au

I've been in touch with Kicks.com.au about their $999.99 price error... Hopefully they fix it soon.
When you responded you quoted the Kicks.com.au sentence:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...8&postcount=19

So I thought you were meaning that Kicks had fixed it, and changed their price from $999.99 to $74.97.

Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993)
Jason X (2002)
Freddy vs. Jason (2003)
Thats a shame. If the last three films have are not included. As they never got a release here or if they did they are long out of print. Makes this an incomplete set. They should have at least included the Final Friday instead of the 2009 remake of the first films. Which isn't that great.

Wonder if they will include the existing releases of the first three films or new remasters? With the first film getting both a theatrical and extended release.

Still good to have these finally on Blu-ray. As its been almost 2 years since I watched these when SBS Viceland played the first eight Friday the 13th movies on TV back in July 2018.

It's $69.47 including delivery if you use the KICKS25 25% off code at checkout though.

I expect the first will be a port of Waners BD release like the UK boxset. I wish that Uni Sony would somehow get the rights to Jason X and Jason goes to hell. Those 2 might just make the $90 price tag worth it

Loved these as a horror-addicted youngster.

Find them very difficult to watch as an adult, lol. Unless they have cult value or significance, arguably like the first Friday the 13th film.

That would be a shame, the US disc is far better.

Got the US 8 film set but will probably still get this. Have custom covers for al and the German JGTH/Jason X. I have custom covers 10 films and some are empty cases. Sounds abit OCD but would rather a disc in each case.

If the films are made available individually, I’ll get 1 - 6. That’s all I need.

Highly unlikely. The later sequels from 5 onwards are all 2-on-1 discs like the Nightmare On Elm Street series, I doubt they'll ever be arsed re-authoring them for individual releases.

A pity the Crystal Lake Memories (2013) documentary isn’t part of the set.

I quite liked the reboot and the original was passable. Will be picking this one up at my local JB.

Freddy vs. Jason was a bit of fun, so its a pity it is not part of the set. Not having Jason X is not an issue. Bad production. Horrible acting (even by Friday the 13th standards). The sets looked shockingly cheap and obvious. Jason X almost plays like Plan 9 from Outer Space (or The Room). Poorly made which gives you a few laughs, but was meant to be a serious piece of work.

I’m picking this up on day 1, been waiting forever to acquire the Friday the 13th movies on Blu-Ray, I have some on Blu-Ray but I want them all.

Any word if Jason X will be in the set?

Nah, neither will Jason Goes To Hell. Those two were made by a different studio (New Line), along with Freddy vs Jason.
