Big News! New Title! Long Post! We’re happy to announce that we are transitioning our home video operations to OCN Distribution whose sister company is the legendary Vinegar Syndrome! What does that mean for Altered Innocence fans? Nothing but amazing things - that’s what! Firstly we’ll now be releasing all of our Blu-ray editions in both standard and limited edition runs. The limited runs will include a gorgeous slipcase that will impress your friends and make your enemies shudder with jealousy! These editions will (mostly) only be for sale on Vinegar Syndrome’s web-store. The bad news? We unfortunately are moving away from the gorgeous clear Scanavo 14mm cases that we used to use for our blu-ray editions, but fear not! We’ll absolutely keep using them for packaging AI-28B and previous catalog numbers. Moving forward we’ll be using the clear Viva Elite 12mm cases. Very pretty as well! Also something to note is that pre-orders from Vinegar Syndrome will ship nearly a month ahead of places like Amazon - pretty cool! All in all we’re very excited about this change and can’t wait to let you know about some awesome releases we’ve got coming in the near horizon, but first things first - our first short film collection. We'll gush more about it in another post, but here's the gist and a link to pre-order:

very exciting, and when they announced they had news on Thursday, I was wishful it would mean a partnership with OCN/VS to a degree-

Vinegar Syndrome had worked on, and are possibly sitting on, some Arthur J. Bressan Jr. films, (they’re accredited to the restorations of Passing Strangers, Forbidden Letters, and very likely also did Gay U.S.A.), and I’ve been really hoping they would, or someone could find a way to put them all out in disc- this makes me a bit more hopeful on that front.

A restoration of Bressan's "Abuse" would be a dream come true.
It seems to be the last (or one of the last) of his films, that have not been restored yet, so I hope there's gonna be an anncouncement soon.

I have made so many bad experiences with gay shortfilm compilations over the last 20 years, that I will never buy one blind ever again. There's just so many terrible ones.
But still excited about their partnership with VS and looking forward to what comes next.

If I had the choice, I'd probably still prefer their Scanavo cases over a Vinegar slip though

Give it a go. As someone who has also been incredibly disappointed by queer short collections in the past, this one exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. Just be warned that not all the shorts are LGBTQ themed.
