It's also surprising how Antoine Fuqua keeps getting high profile gigs even though he's only made 1 good movie in his entire career, and that was 21 years ago.

He’s had two previous best actor nominations, and Pursuit of Happyness was also a big commercial success.

There’s a report that Smith is offering fans a free week of Apple+, so that they can watch this.

This movie was great. Brutal, but great. I loved the cinematography, the musical score, and - yes! - Will Smith's acting (way better than in the obnoxious "King Richard"). Ben Foster is also very good and menacing, as usual.
It's a shame this movie is on Apple TV+, a streaming service that apparently no one uses (not even those who got it for free with an iPhone purchase), because no one is talking about this movie. Or maybe people are still sore about Smith's behavior at the Oscars.
