Django Unchained. It’s hard to explain, but everything after Shultz and Candie’s death just feels tacked on. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed everything that followed, but you can pinpoint the exact moment the movie starts to feel a little long.

I agree, it definitely went on longer than necessary. I still enjoyed the scenes, for the most part.

I would say Kill Bill Vol.2, I love that film, but I was expecting this big final showdown fight with Bill. I wanted to see them really go at it.

The issue for me is the film just becomes a standard revenge piece after that, I was expecting Jackson's character to offer up something at the end which provided a bit more moral challenge to the hero but he just ends up a standard villain.

Crash at end of AIR FORCE ONE. Cuts rewatchability by about 90%, I only watch it every decade or so instead of every year.

The x-ray polaroid (that shows an x-ray not only of Bond, but of the people in a PHOTO ON THE WALL behind him) in LICENCE TO KILL belongs only in a Roger Moore flick, not in a Bond movie that maintains the tough raw feel of Ian Fleming throughout.

That's like something out an Asylum movie. And even 23 years ago, it looked horrible. What's supposed to be the nail-biting climax turns into a Laff Riot at the worst possible moment. Die Hard 2 had a terrifyingly realistic plane crash scene seven years earlier, and that used an actual physical model.

My issue with the film is Django doesn't really get to do much until the final scenes and by then the movie becomes an out and out parody. The final sequence in particular is an overly cutesy cartoon. Django's basically a Looney Tune character with some Acme dynamite.

The unnecessary, illogical, much-discussed twist in Haute Tension. Up to that point, it's one of the best horror films I've seen.

'Let the right one in' is one of my favorite horror films, I am simply shocked that I have watched this film more than once and never realized how bad the CGI is in this scene ...

Answering your question:
Joan Fontaine performance on Rebecca
Leonardo Di Caprio in Gangs of New York
The soundtrack of 'Manchester by the sea' which in my opinion left some scenes of the film with a much more melodramatic tone than necessary

A Nightmare on Elm Street- The blow up dummy getting pulled through the door at the very end.

Avengers Endgame- Hulk got totally robbed of a rematch with Thanos.

Hans Zimmer's punishingly overbearing, earbleed-inducing score to Dunkirk.

In fact, all Nolan movies have terrible soundtracks.

Aside from the blonde assassin dude, you're pretty much right. Joe Don Baker and Jeroen Krabbe are simply not threatening or charismatic. Dalton's Licence To Kill had a much better collection of baddies.

Homefront - casting James Franco as the villain. I mean, he's a good actor, but his physical inferiority to Jason Statham makes him so non-threatening. You just know he's gonna be dog food as soon as the Stath gets hold of him.

Agreed. I feel this way about all of the dialogue in The Dark Knight, aside from the Joker's "do you want to know how I got these scars?" scenes, and Alfred's speech about the Burmese bandit and how "some men just want to watch the world burn." Everything else is just outdated, generic comic book dialogue.
