Agreed, thinking about getting the regular 4k edition and putting the disc in that steelbook.

Pretty basic economics.....There is a large supply of new steelbooks for this movie being introduced, with a superior disc.
Just track the secondary market prices and see what happens.

I really like the artwork personally, great colors, and a nice composition that's not overly in your face.

I would think this release will make the previous steelbook increase in value. Also the Blu-ray steelbook wasn’t released anywhere else as far as I’m aware. Zavvi UK didn’t even get it.

I don't think that basic economics work with sought-after steelbooks, but ok. For example, I just looked at some older Best Buy Marvel steelbooks on eBay and they are still fetching some high prices. They've all had 4k steel re-releases

Also how do you know that a large supply of steelbooks are being produced? And that the 4K disc will be superior? Maybe it won't be... It wouldn't be the first time

I'm not staking any money on me being right, but re-releases don't always affect older releases every time

You must have missed the "Maybe" on my first post. I know a large supply of steelbooks are being produced simply because Best Buy doesn't make tiny runs. Even their smaller runs are significant. I know the 4K will be superior because of obvious reasons, one being I have personally never seen a Disney 4K that was inferior to the blu ray.
