I'm not going to double-dip on seasons 1 & 8, hopefully 2-7 will get individual releases.

Actually on par with the format, it's a WB show and only WB shows (and Stranger Things) have been getting 4K releases, when it's another studio the it's good for the format's future.

I liked the show until they started having to make it up themselves, and it just felt thrown together and rushed, so I'll probably skip it... atleast for now.

I started the show on HBO right before season 6 on the recommendation of my brother. Then I got into 4k and I knew eventually HBO would do this. Which is why I never got any of the show on BD or 4k yet. Hoping for a House Targaryen set since that's the house I always cared about the most.

Season 1 was shot on HDCAM. The rest of the show looks very different.

I bought the uber fancy box set that came out already. I think I’ll just stick with that. Having this in 4K would be great, but for the amount of times I’ll end up revisiting the series the blurays will work for me.

Sorry, but it didn't happen for The Sopranos so it's not happening for this. Getting those other 6 seasons at $35 each is already the default price of this anyway. It's also so much easier for them to get stores to carry this one sku rather then seven.

I'm just fine with my copy of S8 after it finally hit that $30 sweet spot. No telling when I'll find the time to do a whole series rewatch anyway.

Each of those individual seasons would definitely cost you more than this box set with all of them.
