I can't really say, they both look about as bad as one another.

The movie's entire second half relies heavily on this lion and it really needed a CG budget or used trained animals. The THING they use is one of the worst looking CG creations out there (especially when you compare it to the hyper real CG lions in last year's Lion King remake). At times it doesn't resemble a lioness (sometimes it looks more like a cougar), and the animation is very herky jerky, like it was added to the film via After Effects. Basically the CGI is so bad, they should have just scrapped the whole lion subplot and just focused on the characters being held up in the house by the villains.

The film also has a conversationalist message but it's sorta hampered by the lion killing just about everyone.

Christ! This movie is so boring. I usually don't pause a movie and give my thoughts right away, but this shit feels like it has no character development what's so ever. I'm about to tap out.

Okay, I can't take it anymore. I just can't. I'm tapping out. Yes, the trailer looks fun, but all that shit doesn't happen until the third act. The lack of character development and bad CGI just completely takes you out of the movie. This is the third most boring action movie I ever seen in my life. The first and second are The Replacement Killers and War, which put me to sleep.

I'm going to try and finished this movie later. But yeah, this is not a proper way to watch a movie.

lol, I was thinking about that the other day. I was going to watch it, until that stupid hurricane hit. I had no lights for 8 days, so Halloween was already over. But I will watch it, eventually soon.

LMAO! xD This movie is poorly directed. I'm trying to finish it (no I didn't play it from the beginning again, **** that), and I was laughing hard at the scene where the two women were trying to escape and the bad guys just pop out of nowhere and were like, gotcha *****es! That's not what they actually said, I think? That's how badly directed this was. It's not suppose to be funny at all. It's suppose to be a chilling scene, considering the bad guys intentions are, but it unintentionally came off a comedic.

FINALLY! Got through this shit. Jesus Christ! Now to be completely fair, on paper this movie probably doesn't sound like a bad idea. The execution is just so pissed poor. The direction for this movie is just so unfocused, Megan Fox can't carry a film, and the CGI on the lions were terrible. Not the worse movie I even seen in my life, but when you take into account at everything I have mentioned so far, it completely takes you away from the movie to the point where you don't care what's going on anymore.

Also the ending felt very Disneyish. Like, WTF!? This is suppose to be a hard R-rated movie and that ending just felt something out of a Disney film. Again, unfocused. Why the lions are so OP in this?
