this went down another $2 to 27.99. i got a delay email but i still wouldnt be surprised if it showed up tomorrow or Tuesday. seem to always get those now for obvious reasons.

if you ever get bored of it or decide you need money odds are you'll be able to put your steelbook up on ebay for what you paid or more even pre-owned. Even if you dont resell it can be nice to find out some random $20 steelbook you picked up is now worth $100 on ebay etc.

That's the logical reason in my eyes to spend usually $5 more on the steelbook version.

Beyond logic theres tons of personal reasons people prefer steelbooks.

But if you just want something to watch with all the features and don't care about Art/Collectibles/Value just buy the standard edition of every movie and avoid the steelbook sections of forums

Damn I didn't know Amazon was selling the steelbook. I would have bought it there instead of Bestbuy.

amazon prime member here... ordered this 6 weeks ago... as of today - release date - it is still processing with an expected delivery date of thursday...

so i added one to my cart, and went thru check out... and it says that one will be here tomorrow!

so i cancelled the preorder (that should have gotten me release date delivery) and ordered it today for delivery tomorrow...

i think amazon can blame covid19 only for so long
