They should release this in September or October in theaters since those months are kinda dry for movies. Don’t know why they’ve been so quiet on this one??

I think it was because the production company STX Films was sold this year and they're still working out the rights to this or something. But I agree, it'd be great to see this released this year.

Hopefully the studios won't panic and punt almost everything from September into an overcrowded October, as they did last year. Although this trailer mentions "The Ukrainians", which could explain a delay?

On that, boy howdy is the "action babe" in this coming off as a tryhard, with lines so forced and awkward that the other characters are giving her the "bruh" look. Is Guy Ritchie going for a deconstruction of that archetype?

I sure do miss the era of films like Bourne, Conspiracy Theory, Enemy of the State etc. Portraying Five Eyes as some sort of benevolent force is a bit weird in general, but thematically it removes a lot of tension when the good guys are the biggest Western governments, and the bad guy is just a random billionaire. That's punching down.

But I always enjoy Statham in his roles, one of so few action stars nowadays, so it'll be on my watch list.

That's good to know. Hopefully it gets a physical release in the US at least.

Caribbean Cinemas have it listed for January 5th, their schedule usually matches with my country (we don't have CC). Can't miss a Ritchie flick on the big screen!
