I added a "Details" under the "Alice Cooper Concerts" and the "Alice Cooper's Film Appearances" sections, please let me know what you think.

Could you comment on the quality of the transfer for the '75 "Nightmare" TV special on this DVD?

I've been meaning to get this for a long time. I have a high-quality DVD-R from the VHS, and love to play it each year around Halloween.

Nice little breakdown without spoilers for the movies.

I love how he re-formatted a stage prop for a memorable kill in Prince of Darkness, just had to mention that. I assume that he re-formatted it since he had been doing the gag on stage for years by then.

I did the VIP meet with both John Carpenter and Alice Cooper a couple of years back. Spent most of the allocated 10 minute chat with Alice Cooper talking about Prince of Darkness. Just amazing. That year also saw Morricone in concert. Got to squeeze these things in while you can.

Hope I get a chance to, did get a chance and met John (at a convention, but I was last in line before a break and got a couple extra minutes with him), but never got the honor of meeting Alice.
Man, a couple years ago I found my ticket stub from the first AC show I saw and it freaked me out. It was 10/30/85 but I swore it was 87-88 since I know damn well I was tripping at that show, literally! Did not recall being that into drugs at that age (14).

I need to watch it again, it's been awhile but from what I remember the quality was really good, better than my old VHS tapes but certainly not Blu-Ray quality.

You need to double check that ticket stub, Alice didn't tour in 1985, his comeback tour "The Nightmare Returns" tour started in 1986, prior to that 1981/1982 was the last time be performed live on the "Special Forces" tour.

It's pretty soft. I'm okay with it, not having very high expectations for a TV production on dvd. Probably better than your VHS, but not spectacular. Both the concert film and the TV special look like they could be sourced from tape masters. It might be the best we ever get for these.

I just add "Details" under "Soundtrack without a Film Appearance" and "TV Appearances" This is a fun project, please feel free to make suggestions or corrections if needed.

You're probably right. What is irking me now is I put those old stubs somewhere where I know they wouldn't lost or messed up, now I can't find that place. Got all my stubs from sports where they should be, all my concerts from 1994 to present are where they should be, and the old ones should ****ing be with those but aren't!

I'll take your word and believe I didn't turn legally insane (false rumor if you've taken acid more than 3 times in your life, you are legally insane. I tried using that to get out of jury duty and was laughed at) until 15.

I met Alice at a convetion in NC and was last person before lunch, dude was literally shocked at what I brought for him to sign. I brought a custom made part 6 hockey mask signed by CJ Graham the year before that for Alice to sign too. He was selling a few double autos that had both on there but he said that was the first time he ever saw someone bringing in a CJ signed hock. He even got his handler and a few others from his table to come over and he took a photo with it. then my wife gives him a Prince of darkness Greatest hits vinyl album and he goes ive never seen this, and starts reading it, he said it might of came out in his blackout drunk days. He said he didnt even own one, my offered wife it to him and he declined, signed it for free. Good dude. Ive seen him 3 times. best time was Gruesome Twosome tour with Rob Zombie. Alice came on first and did a killer 2 hour show. Zombie came on at night due to all his lights and Pyro. one of the best days of my life
I try to fit in one of his live performances each Octoberac1.jpg

ALICE COOPER Releases New 'Campaign' Music Video For Classic Song 'Elected'

Legendary rocker Alice Cooper is gearing up for the 2020 presidential election in the only way he knows how — by running for president, something he has done satirically every four years since releasing the song "Elected" back in 1972.

Alice Cooper, Lzzy Hale to Judge ‘No Cover’ Band Competition TV Show!

Alice Cooper, Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, Gavin Rossdale, Bishop Briggs and Tosin Abasi will serve as judges for Hit Parader’s new band competition TV show, No Cover. Co-hosted by singer Kellin Quinn and radio personality Caity Babs, the series will also feature behind-the-scenes interviews from TV/radio personality and music industry veteran Matt Pinfield.

The show will spotlight unsigned artists and bands that write and record their own original music. Though an air date and platform have not yet been released, applications are currently open. All ages may apply, though those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if they are selected to perform on set.

Once applicants are selected by the show’s producers, the celebrity judges will grade the artists on “three key factors: originality, presence and songcraft,” according to a statement from the show.

I have the DVD and the original VHS. I noticed the Welcome to My Nightmare part on the DVD is shorter than the VHS. From the tracks listing it looks like they did not include the intros to a few of the songs. Didn't rewatch the VHS, so not sure what exactly was cut.

This is a pleasant surprise to wake up to this morning:

Severin Films has announced that it will release on Blu-ray The Attic Expeditions (2001), starring Seth Green, Jeffrey Combs, Wendy Robie, Ted Raimi, and Alice Cooper. The release will be available for purchase during Black Friday.

Dope, this movie is so underrated. It also has one of my all time favorite quotes.

"No one that you ever knew, or loved, or who loved you, or anyone who was ever anything to you that made you think that they might be as real as you are, ever proved that all six billion of the rest of us aren't all in it together against you."

Feeling like that right now as my computer is ****ing up and it took me 10 minutes to post this reply that should've taken 30 seconds.
