This movie is awesome, I have it on Blu-ray and DVD but I’ll definitely be getting this.

Edit:- Just pre-ordered it for 36.99$, apparently if you don’t order this weekend if will go up in price.

I haven't seen this since I was a little kid and have been meaning to watch it as an adult. It was pretty much a live version of He-Man for me and far superior to the actual He-Man movie.

I don't remember much other than the horrifying kid sacrifice that scarred me for life and the ferrets. I'm not sure I'm willing to go nearly $40 for essentially a blind buy but it looks like a beautiful set.

Hopefully there's a more standard release down the line.

When I saw this thread title pop up under "Latest Blu-ray Forum Posts" I dismissed it as a joke.

"Surely they wouldn't skip a blu-ray release and go straight for 4K..."

And I clicked, and saw verily it tweren't no joke a'tall... AND offered in a combo with Fade to Black... AND an unreleased 3D horror film?

This movie is truly a big masterpiece of the eighties, and I'm just glad that it has been finally preserved on 4K as it deserves.
This is a great day.

Hopefully, we will get Part 2 and 3 on blu-ray as well, I love both.

THE BEASTMASTER lives!
