Just pre-ordered it. Has been one of my most wanted titles on blu-ray!

As much as I'd like to have this, the shipping puts it out of reach. $20.00 to ship to my location (U.S.). That's more than half the cost of the disc.

Any time before release should be fine, none of the 10 titles already released sold out before release.

Ugh, $40 U.S. to get this, can't do it. Hope it gets a release here in the States.

Would $25-28USD be acceptable? That's been pretty much the street price for the std Imprint items from various sources including Deep Discount.

They've often been $20-25 shipped from JB sometime near/after release

The last thing I ordered from JB HIFI was “the haunting” Blu-Ray. After that I thought I read somewhere they weren’t shipping to the USA anymore. Is this the case? How are we suppose to (affordably) order this to the states?

Most likely Shout. It was probably set to be announced at Comic Con before the event was canceled. I'm going to wait - maybe it'll pop up in January.

I just put an order into them about 3 weeks ago for 3 titles and got all three this past week (so just under 3 weeks from shipping). They were still sending to the US as of then.

In regards to the artwork, is that how they are (i.e. devoid of classification markings)?

As I'm really not at all familiar with Imprint/Via Vision, are their transfers generally high quality? As such, are Imprint titles only available direct from Via Vision, or do they end up being available through JB Hi-Fi, Amazon, etc.?
I'd recommend reading through this post: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=326144

Mixed reaction on some discs.

Yes, what you see is what you get.

I only own WAR OF THE WORLDS from the Imprint line, which is a very slight step down compression-wise from the Criterion Collection, but otherwise great (https://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?d1=14449&d2=14175&c=5495). We’re dealing with catalog titles that haven’t undergone any substantial restoration work here, so you should probably expect discs that won’t blow you away, but also won’t be in any remote danger of being confused for a DVD.

I can’t help you there. I live in mortal fear of limited editions produced in extremely small numbers selling out, so I don’t wait to find out—I order right from the source (which is made even easier by the fact that they don’t give me any grief about mailing to my country during COVID).

In AUS -- JB, Sanity, Via, Amazon and I'm sure some other AUS retailers

In the US -- Amazon, Deep Discount/Wow, DiabolikDVD, Bullmoose and a few others

They're variable. War Of The Worlds is pretty damn great though, as it came from a known 4K restoration... Some titles come with exclusive extras too, which is a nice sweetener.

Exactly what I'm gonna do. Hope they don't sell out by then... but it's too expensive for me at the moment to take a punt on.

Only lossy Dolby Digital 5.1? That's disappointing, but other than that this looks terrific.

It may not be DD. All their listings for previous titles have said the same thing and they turned out to be lossless.
