I lol'd, but Fincher may have something to do with it, he's very exacting but also very busy and so finding the time to approve - or should I saw tweak the shit out of - 4K HDR masters for all three may be proving difficult. Also known as The Cameron Effect.

2012 is THE over the top disaster movie like Paul Verhoeven directs his over the top violence in movies.
At least Verhoeven's movies were good.

I do like 2012 for all the destruction and mayhem, but it's cheesy and Hollywoodish and nothing makes sense.

Speaking of the dates... this movie is literally the worst to search for in some sort of database like eBay listings. 2012 SteelBook (for example) just has too many potential results

Sony have been kinda awesome on that front, adding extras to the 4K discs that aren't on the packed-in BD, even if it's just trailers. Pressing a new bonus disc for Black Hawk Down just to house the stuff that's not on the BD was a nice touch.
