Since it is over a year I can't return it. People buying what looks resealed from Amazon beware.
Was it a 3rd party seller on amazon?

It doesn't help that there are !@#$% on YouTube giving tutorials on how to reseal products.

Reminds me of one time a customer at Walmart wanted to exchange a PS3 game that had a blank CD-R inside. At first I didn't believe him cause I thought that would be impossible but then he just wanted an even exchange for just the disc so I allowed it. It blew my mind.

That being said, ALWAYS check your discs as soon as you get them.

Unbelievable. A billion dollar corporation shouldn’t engage in anything so unprofessional.

My "NEW" copy of the BFI release of EQUUS sold and shipped by Amazon.UK arrived in a Ziplock bag. Needless to say there was no shrink wrap on the Blu at all. Although everything was in good shape, I still complained because that's bullsh-it and I'm sick and tired of Amazon thinking because they're a monopoly they can, to quote Jack Nicholson as Badass Buddusky, continually "stick it in and break it off."

I bought 9 out of 10 Miyazaki Gkids movies from amazon.ca recently, new for 19.99$. Turns out they were from a third seller fullfiled by amazon, which I had not realised. They were all rewrapped (except two that were from amazon). The 7 of them all had heavy wrinkles, no slipcovers and one of them was even in a bigger double disc blu ray case that didn't fit the cover, all from the same seller. Awful. I sent them all back, got a full refund, complained to amazon and then went to best buy and found them all new in pristine condition with the slipcover (which wasn't that important to me at first but now that I have them all with it it is haha). Anyway, really annoying, hope amazon does something about it. I'm guessing it's a third seller that buys the returns from amazon and then tries to salvage what they have and resealed them. I wouldn't mind as much if it wasn't sold as new. :/
