Listing on the website only counts it for 198 minutes. That’s about 8 episodes. Which… I mean ya only need one disc for that. It’s silly. It’s silly to piece it out like this when there’s less than 26 episodes.

I'm just going to cancel my pre-order and wait for the complete series release. This is just a repeat of Sonic Boom from the looks of things and I honestly liked the steelbook art more than the OG release art for Boom and it was by the same company.

I mean, it's nice that it HAPPENED. Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia only got a single, crummy DVD release. A bunch of other Netflix cartoons got nada.
But yeah, a complete series set would've been preferable.

I contacted NCircle Entertainment as well as Miller Creek Entertainment asking about if there is an estimate of when Sonic Prime: Season 2 & Sonic Prime: Season 3 will be released on Blu-ray & Digital and they replied to me with Sonic Prime: Season 2 being released on Blu-ray & Digital on 08/27/2024 and Sonic Prime: Season 3 releasing on Blu-ray & Digital in early 2025

The Netflix release method really doesn’t work for physical media. If it had even paltry special features to make up for a meager 8 episode disc, which could’ve easily been a DVD for so little? It still wouldn’t be acceptable. Eight episodes on a single Blu Ray disc just feels… scummy… no matter the price.
