A film being shot or finished in 2K has not deterred 4K releases in the past, however.
I can't remember if the DCP was 2k or 1080 actually.

Most modern films (especially those that incorporate CGI) have a 2K DI. This does not stop a 4K transfer.
Aquaman is a 2K DI, upscaled to 4K and is a reference quality disc.
I don’t know why people still care what the initial DI is as it makes zero difference.

I have pre-ordered it from Zavvi and as far as I know it's still on for next Monday. That doesn't mean anything though!

Zavvi have just sent my Steelbox. Funny when I pre-ordered it it was the only Blu Ray edition Zavvi had listed. I was going to change the order to the standard Blu Ray edition but never got around to it.

Looking forward to finally seeing the film. Missed it at the cinema.

Zavvi shipped my steelbook copy this morning.

Dunno how long it'll take to arrive in the States.

I'm very tempted yo blind buy as I liked the trailer and it does look like something I'd enjoy
The steelbook looks nice too.

Movie looks interesting but also looks like a risky blind buy for me so I'll await a price drop.

I was prepared to buy the standard Blu ray version, but after seeing that steelbook I'm tempted to reconsider.

It’s a cracker! I mean you wouldn’t in a million years walk back to a house on south cliff from Tesco’s or Sainsbury’s the wrong direction past the arcades and crab stalls but I guess it’s not actually meant to be Scarborough, just any generic seaside town off season

I've been really wanting to see this film! Was hoping to do so in theaters, but I may just have to import this Blu-ray after reading some of the great comments in this thread.

I guess I'll go ahead and purchase this for $32 from Rarewaves and then Lionsgate will probably announce a blu ray in a few weeks. Oh well.
