Their sales are 50% off. So it was US$13.50 for Secret plus shipping (international shipping is around US$30 for five blu rays).

Yeah, three of them came from Hamilton Book. I wanted Hana-Dama, but didn't want to place an order for just that, so I threw in a few other movies.

I guess the Korean "Hail the Judge" is the same as the HK Blu-ray, right? That would mean that it is also cut? Is this known?

I posted my review of Shaolin Soccer on the homepage. Here's a copy. The disc is marked Region ALL.

Movie- I had the Miramax DVD and this movie is light years ahead. The film itself is much more enjoyable than the English version, 89 minutes. I did not do an A/B comparison but the story was definitely more fleshed out and more laughs. I'd give the movie 4 stars. For comparison, I'd give Kung Fu Hustle 4.5 stars.

Video- Blu-ray vs. DVD?! No comparison. Color saturation was much better and it was more detailed. There are some soft scenes but that's acceptable since I was enjoying the movie so much.

Audio- DTS-HD 5.1 Cantonese vs Dolby Digital Surround. Need I say more?

Extras- I took off a point because I couldn't figure out how to get English subtitles for the interviews. Or maybe there were none.

Overall- I'm happy with this purchase from Nova Media. I'm a Stephen Chow fan and doubt if there will be a better version.
