So yes, it’s plausible that both Jack and Rose could have survived on the board if they’d MacGyvered her life jacket.

If only those two dumb teenagers had watched myth busters and knew how to stabilize the door after narrowly escaping a sinking ship and not if they would survive even if they both fit on the door. If only they weren’t cold, scared, frightened and in a hurry to survive to sit back and think how to properly balance a door.

You know what would’ve solved all of this? If the ship didn’t hit the iceberg.
