I think I ordered maybe in August and finally got a refund in November I think. I know his amount of orders increased dramatically, but some kind of communication is essential for any kind of customer service.

Odd, as I have never had anything lost from Japan; especially Amazon.co.jp. They even deliver stuff from Japan to US in like 4 days sometimes; which is quicker service than what I normally get from US Amazon. Also had really good luck with http://www.dddhouse.com from HK. Just be advised though, that orders from HK might take a little bit of time to arrive elsewhere due to Covid and all that.

All of HKR stuff is bootleg. They are grey market. And, it seems that they have been having case supplier issues for a while now. Not sure why people keep supporting questionable releases. I would wait until UK Eureka or 88 Films announce an official title of some of these films. Not sure if all will get released, but who knows. Lots of titles for any company to get through.

Well, when fans will do work that studios won’t, it’s not hard to understand why other fans will gravitate towards that.

If this is true, *looks at date on calendar*, then I hope the version on Vudu gets updated with the audio and subtitles. I haven’t watched it since I bought it to check it out and the silence is just jarring.

For anyone that has been looking for the release of this movie in this thread, unfortunately it did go OOP, so you'll have to get lucky finding it on ebay.

They did put out a new version, however, and they changed the title to "Drunken Master II" rather than "Legend of the Drunken Master".

Legend of the Drunken Master is the alternate title when Miramax had distribution under Dimension.

The original title was always Drunken Master II as it is a sequel. The Warner disc also restores the original ending that was removed for the Miramax version.

The Miramax release has a 5.1 soundtrack with Jackie Chan’s participation. Whereas the Warner release has the Golden Harvest English dub and Golden Harvest subtitles.

The Warner disc is not out of print either.
