There is a very good reason why Wonder Woman is leader of the Justice Society and why Aquaman is in the movie, and it's very simple... Their live action movies were successful. LOL Besides, in the original comics, Wondie was the society's secretary. That doesn't exactly sound fair, now does it?

New images of the movie. (Not technically new, but I thought I'd just post them anyway.)

I'm loving the design of the Atlantean monster. It feels almost anime-ish. The designs for everyone else is cool, too. One big thing I've noticed is that all the superheroes have designer belt buckles, including Barry Allen's Flash, who's NEVER had one before, even in the comics. This isn't the first time, since Superman in Man of Tomorrow also had one. So, in honor of this little detail, I hereby dub this new era of DC animated films as the "Belt Buckle" era.

It seems the Justice Society is getting a lot more play recently.

1)They've been re-introduced in the comics and are major part of the Infinite Frontier relaunch.
2)We've got this animated film.
3)The JSA is a major element of the CW Stargirl series with the focus on their legacy and the next generation taking their personas.
4)The JSA are being introduced into the DCEU via Black Adam featuring Hawkman,Atom Smasher,Cyclone and the just cast Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate.
