Tarantino for fun
Fincher for serious

Not sure who to pick as I love both, and all of their respective filmographies

I guess Tarantino as I like Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown more than anything Fincher has made. That said I find most of Tarantino's work from the last 20 years to be frustrating as he can create something that seems promising, but always throws it away in end by falling back on what is now autopilot Tarantino outbursts of juvenile schlock violence.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood over Mank any day of the week.
So yeah, overall it's Tarantino.

Fincher mostly not my jam but Tarantino never my jam. Fincher wins for The Game & Panic Room.

QT. None of his films I've found boring but there have been a few from Fincher I've not cared for like his last film that just came out.

I like Tarantino as a talker, but I don't like him much as a director. His movies aren't my cup of tea most of the time.
Fincher on the other hand is a master of visuals, which can even help the simplest story look great on screen.

Fincher is the best director but his movies doesn't stay in my head (except for Seven / Fight Club) very long after the ending credits, Tarantino's are more funny to watch and remmber.
