Dear God that Psycho steel is glorious. Wish that was released the first go-round. I will definitely be getting rid of my original Psycho 4K steel in favor of this.

EDIT: I would HOPE that the new steel contains the corrected discs with the correct mono audio.

Wow. Regretting going through the whole replacement disc debacle now, because I am definitely going to buy all of these, if the artwork is as good as these two. Imagine not having to struggle with the tiiiiiiiiightly packed discs in cardboard sleeves, and getting beautiful original art/images on the outside and inside. Definitely the best Psycho BD/4K art yet. Blows the “blood circling the drain” one (ugh) away easily.

Last time I purchased Birds was in the Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection on dvd in that beautiful burgundy felt box.

Seems a perfect time to upgrade

Beautiful! Universal is getting my money for all the steelbooks in May. And I already own the Psycho 4K steelbook from Bestbuy reluctantly (not a fan of the design) because I didn't want those book pages so these are perfect for me. Maybe I will flea-bay that one. Rear Window and Vertigo can't be far behind.

Hopefully they’ll do these for all the movies in the Masterpiece collection and give us long-overdue 4K transfers of Frenzy and Family Plot.

If you also order the Psycho steelbook, the shipping will be free. If you only need one or the other, you can probably wait until it's available for in-store pickup, closer to the release date.
