You directly quoted the poster asking about the case saying you didn't know about the case but that that was "more reason to believe this isnt legit." I'm simply letting you know that it was never implied anywhere that this release wouldn't be in a standard case and that the official release I received is in a standard case so the fact that your copy is in a standard case is not at all evidence that you received an illegitimate or bootlegged copy.

Just trying to help you out since you said you don't know about the case used and seem very concerned you received an illegitimate copy.

I didn't ask about the case,it was stated to me and my reply was that I didn't know.
I originally posted because(as I said)the cover looks photocopied.

I then had replies saying different things,including the case and others that didn't believe it had been released yet.

It just added to my suspicions because of of the reasons stated above.
I appreciate your help and in fact,if you have it from a legitimate source and the cover looks like it was made by a child then fair enough.

so is there a reason why all the recent Samuel Goldwyn blurays all have this as their advertised covers?

there are plenty of regular bluray templates out there, why not just use those? is it like a really subtle marketing tactic?

Bull moose seems to be one of the only online retailers I can find listing it as in stock still almost a week after release. It’s very odd. Like Amazon has the DVD available but not the Blu-ray. And I preordered with them, so it’s not like it sold out

It does in fact have a DTS and LCPM track even though it doesn’t list it properly on the back. And yeah it almost looks like a bad bootleg scan on the back especially the barcode, but it’s an official release and was definitely factory sealed.

Picture quality is top notch as well

Anyone else surprised by the cheap quality of the print on the boxart? The back looks especially fuzzy, with the small text being hard to read while the larger text also looks sort of thin. Even the barcode on the back looks off. If I hadn't bought this from Amazon I would've thought this was a bootleg or someone's custom cover. Even the distributor's logo (SamuelGoldwyn) is barely readable.

Apparently the AV quality is good though, the audio is even lossless, but this isn't even labelled properly on the packaging.

I'm glad to have it, but I wouldn't mind double-dipping if a better release came out in another region. The Brazilian release looks mint but I understand no Portuguese
