SKOW listing says not available. So if that's not happening I'll likely pass on PIP as well as SKOW I like more than PIP.

If SKOW is still happening for a BD steelbook I'll buy both SKOW and PIP.

Definitely possible for SC and PT&A but SHAB no way they do a steelbook for that one I would be surprised.

We need a steelbook for Planes, Trains and Automobiles badly.

So Ferris is the same as the FYE exclusive so pass for me but still in for Pretty in Pink. $14.99 is not a bad price.

Wow so is paramount just not going to do a 4k of Ferris for the 35th anniversary? Even a remaster on blu? Nothing? This sucks.

I suppose they didn’t want to use the same artwork that they used for Paramount Presents: Pretty in Pink. That would have been nicer. Hard to beat the original poster art. Passing on these since it would be my third copy of each film. Looking forward to see what Some Kind of Wonderful looks like.

YES!!!! If this is how we get a single of Some Kind of Wonderful, I'm in! I knew that if I waited, they would eventually end up releasing it.

So in everyone's opinion, do these steelbook releases of Some Kind of Wonderful and Ferris Bueller's Day Off increase or decrease the likelihood of a new 4k master and release via the Presents line?

I like the Some Kind of Wonderful design in particular. If these three steelbooks just included 4K discs, I’d get all three. Paramount is pretty good at releasing back catalog UHDs, so I’m hopeful they’ll show up eventually.

Took them decades to release Pretty in Pink on Blu-ray then a SteelBook is announced 5 minutes later.

I'd be angry if the artwork were not so horrendous. Have they no decency? Have they none at all??

Not a fan of steelbooks. I am going to stick with the 5 movie set that I got for $14.99.

Hideous art (they should’ve just kept it as a photograph without that godawful filter), but I’ll probably still pick it up since it’s the only solo BD release of the film as of now.

I already own Ferris steel and I said if SKOW wasn't getting a steel I would pass. So I am in for both steels now of PIP and SKOW.

SKOW has to be one of my favorite 80's movies so I don't mind buying the steelbook along with Ferris. These will look nice on the shelf with the Ferris steel and John Hughes BD collection they just put out.

If only we could get a steelbook of Planes, Trains and Automobiles it's one of Paramount's more well known movies.
