The artwork featured on the previous limited edition was/is so beautiful.
I mounted the poster inside a silver frame and friends always comment on how striking it looks.

The current art is cool but I won't be hanging it on my wall.

Still haven't watched the Arrow Blu-ray, though I did watch the Blue Underground disc about a decade ago. Perhaps that's my answer to if I need to upgrade this one.

Glad I didn't get the standard Arrow BD when it was so cheap in their sales. Not a fan of the new artwork at all, so I'm glad there's a reversible cover like always.

I noticed that the Arrow (UHD and BD) is missing some extras from the previous Blue Underground release, so I might have to track that down as well...

No. They haven’t included a Blu of the movie with any of their 4K’s. An occasional Blu of extras.

Easy pass for me. I already have the 2017 limited edition Blu-ray. Maybe when the standard UHD is released i'll grab that during a sale and put that disc in with the limited edition Blu-ray.

Major audio glitch, posterisation visible in dark scenes, the SD inserts have bluish black bars, and a fix near the finale for some damage to the negative is reallllly poorly done

I watched The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (for about the 20th time) at the cinema a couple of weeks ago in a double feature with A Lizard in a Woman's Skin.

It was a DCP but unfortunately looked like the old Blue Underground master rather than the gorgeous 4K Arrow master, which I can only assume will look excellent on a UHD release.
