LionsGate is releasing season one on a 2-disc DVD set, with a street date of February 15th.

No blu-ray.

Might as well not have released it then at all. Damn it when will dvd's just die. We need Blu-Ray to become number 1

If DVDs die, all physical media dies. It sucks that this series isn't getting a Blu-ray release as well but getting rid of DVD production won't change that. People will just go to streaming.

You can't force people to choose Blu-ray.

I finally got around to watching this... I was really taken aback by the sex and language at first because of the CW and Disney associations despite having seen Stephen Amell originally as a male prostitute in HBO's Hung and Alexander Ludwig was in Vikings and it's not the first time Kelli Berglund has been nude in a Starz show (Now Apocalypse, where funny enough she was a camgirl as in Ace's diss speech). But I got over it quick and it kind of felt like a less family-friend Friday Night Lights, happens around the thing but not necessarily about the thing lol I enjoyed it, but I had a hard time liking Ace or Jack, I cared more about Crystal and Bobby honestly.

Stephen Amell's accent kind of faded in and out though lol

I'm geeked! Didn't even know they started filming it, much less coming back so soon after such a long wait.

They finished filming last summer, not entirely sure why it took so long in post, but there was also the whole Lionsgate/Starz thing that probably stalled it as well.

This show is so good! I'm def going to buy a Sub for a month to Starz and support this show. If I FF through each ep on my iPhone, it'll count as watched right?
