I got my copy in the mail today. English subtitles are included. I'm happy to finally own this one in HD. Didn't think it would happen.

i got my copy today, and i can also confirm Region A, and English and Chinese subtitles. a beautiful crisp transfer from the 16mm film. beautiful, and waited two decades for this one. ecstatic!!

i'll wait and see if yesasia sort themselves out, trying to navigate/register on 5music is doing my head in, tried to sign up on there but no confirmation email has come through.

hopefully some other company pick this up too.

I had an e-mail exchange with YesAsia and they're now shipping again to the UK as of yesterday

Got it today.
It's working fine in my Region B player.
Subtitles no idea yet, have to watch it.
Comes in a slipcover.

I can recommend 5music.com.tw. Very fast dispatch. Quite cheap. Declared $10. Went through customs without problems.
