I liked Saw 1 and 2 a lot but thought 3 was really disppointing. 3 was a let down because it felt like it focused more on over the top gore than story. I Thought Saw 4 was better than 3 but still not as good as the first 2 movies. Was anyone else disappointed in what happened to Rigg and Matthews? They were 2 characters that I liked and im disappointed with the turn their story took. I wont give away any spoilers though.

I don't care how bad they get, I hope they keep making them forever. Watching Saw on Halloween (in theaters) has become a yearly tradition for me and my friends. I never thought that Saw was "original," well acted, or well written but for some reason it was always a fun ride.

PS: I did buy 3 just because it was at a cheap price and I am fond of some of the things jigsaw says in the movie.

I THOUGHT JIGSAW WAS DEAD! this one was like a prequel or something right? where it explained his roots and stuff right? what else is there left to do!

END SPOILERS*******************

No,

real spoiler highlight to read

it starts at the autopsy and a tape in his stomach, he had found a new student that commits the tests in this one

bigger spoiler and an explanation to why you think it is a prequel

the movie starts with the cops thinking it must have been an accomplice from the very beginning and tries to find why and who it is
