true, i had no problems with grain in 300, i think it makes it look more "real" but i am just hoping that the video quality is really close to the trailer, same with sound. just gotta wait for reviews i guess.

Wait on it. This isn't the type of movie you'll want to see more than once (at least not for a long time), so you'd do yourself a favor to watch the better version of it for that one viewing.

The grain I think is due to many scenes are done at night or low light... I don't think they used expensive camera.

The one that I am just suprised that actually Ridley Scott took part on producing this movie as you can see in the beginning of the movie, his logo animation appeared.

I can't wait for the day when Dreamworks comes back to Blu..I'd love to see Road to Perdition on Blu-Ray as well.

I would wait only because it's hard for me to watch a title twice in a short period of time...mainly because I'm trying to keep up with my titles, but maybe watching it in SD will give you even more appreciation for the BD version.

i know i was like WTF? they never advertised as him being a producer for it.

LOL... That's not his logo, but his production company Scott Free, which he started with his brother Tony.

So the company is not represented by Ridley alone, there must be other partners. Not necessarily Ridley must be the producer.

i would watch it on dvd if you really have to ,I have a question for someone in here why is there no info on deadliest catch season 3 if this site says its out on feb 5th is discovery only handling this on blu? can`t find it on blu on amazon any ideas?
