An official Halloween webpage posted pictures online of film cans marked "Dr. Death" and said "look what we found", like a year ago. It would be especially cruel if they weren't included on this release.

Shout has a licensing agreement with Paramount, maybe they will license 6-8 to Shout.

This is the second worst in the franchise after Resurrection IMO, but glad it’s coming out for completion’s sake. I’ll join the chorus in hoping for the Miramax entries.

Considering all of the art seemed to drop with the listing for 5, it makes me think they're stopping with this one for this year. As others implied, they may release Curse, H20, and Resurrection next year to coincide with Halloween Ends... If the red tape with Paramount is cleared.

That’s what we’ve been expecting since the initial leaks started. Revenge was just the one we were unsure of since it didn’t get leaked alongside the others.

Yep, agree 100% with this. If I did a Halloween ranking, Resurrection would obviously be at the very bottom but 5 would rank only slightly higher. Still, I'd love to see this entry in 4K and hope the found footage will be released as an extra.

What, they actually got Donald Pleasance back for some of the later sequels? I’ve never seen any of the sequels past the second one (and damned near didn’t finish that).

Yeah, would've been strange to see 4 but not 5 though... though I'm anticipating a message from Shout/Scream saying "so, many asked us about the lost footage for 5, and despite all of our efforts, we were not able to obtain them."
