video quality hovers between a 3.5-4.0 IMO... it's solid, but nothing to write home about. Definitely an older master, but still a very serviceable one.

Mine arrived today...

And - it looks excellent! Very impressed indeed.

I enjoyed this film when it was released and still do. Reeves and Diane Lane and the kids have good chemistry.

do you know if the bluray is region free ? or at least B ? i live in France, and on blu-ray . com it say it's "Region A"

Fairly sure that nearly all Paramount blurays are multiregion/multizone ?

Had the dvd of this unwatched on a pile for many, many years and finally watched it last night.

A great movie!

In terms of a light hearted sports movie it’s much, much better than The Replacements which Keanu also starred in around the same time.

I’ll be keeping an eye out for this on eBay and Amazon if it is confirmed to be region free.

It is region free. And all the extras from the DVD are there. The PQ is a big improvement too.

I agree. It's a decent film that would've got a fair size audience had it been released at a different time. It came out the weekend after the Sept 11 terror attacks and all promotion for it was dropped. People understandably had other things on their mind.

Keanu was excellent I thought... and Diane Lane is as great as ever.

This is such an underrated movie and Keanu Reeves turns in a decent ordinary guy performance. It's Mighty Ducks but less slapstick and with deeper heart. Keanu and Diane Lane work great together. I continue to be impressed by the picture and audio on the Paramount disc.
