I didn't realise I was in the steelbook section (I didn't even know there was a steelbook section), so apologies. I hate steelbooks. As you were.

I'm just saying this before it's too late for you: I used to loathe them as well, found them useless, more expensive and heavier on the owner anway, but somewhere down the line early this year something clicked and now I like them, as long as the artwork is good and I like it.
So I mean, before these sell out and you might change your mind down the line

Thanks, but that'll never happen. I've had a dozen over the last decade and dislike them.

Thankfully I accidentally woke up at 5 in the morning and remembered to put my order in!

I like the outer box, but that's about it. Don't like the SB art as much as the ToC one (and I'm not even fully sold on that one). The physical extras are completely useless, especially a newspaper. I don't even get why they're even wasting time making replica newspapers for a movie like this as if that somehow connects to it strongly or something. Just comes off as filler material (which of course is what it is). The bonus disc is a nice extra assuming you don't already have it from a previous release.

I own the other ultimate editions of the Kubrick 4Ks. Gonna go for this one. The steelbook will be a nice change as I intend to pick up the standard US edition as well. I do like the Philip Castle art cards. Once bought a book of his art just for the A Clockwork Orange stuff.

If you still own the Clockwork Orange Digibook in your collection, it's the same disc contents as the bonus disc with that release apparently.

I might have to get this on restock. I like the steelbook. If Zavvi has a higher quality steel product than BB, I'd consider it. Not sure I want to be spending 60 on many films though, and there are too many coming out too frequently. It's a special film of course, so I have to decide I guess. The extra disc is nice, and I might go for that as I do not own this on bluray.

Why? Zavvi is cheap to ship, and it's already sold-out.

isn't the whole point of group buy is to pre-order something?

Yes to pre-order something before it is actually released. This hasn't been released yet.

Often times there are group buys with leftover product. Thanks for all your help though!

Does anyone know if both documentaries on the Blu-ray bonus disc are in HD?
