As both the 4K UHD and the Blu-ray are in the same set, this can probably be merged into the existing thread:

I think there should be discussion for Blu-ray only customers too. Not everyone who buys Criterion titles have 4K.

Menace is my jam, sure I will pick up Citizen but Menace getting both a Criterion and 4K upgrade is a real cause for celebration

Hopefully this means all the previous laserdisc extras will make it to a disc that isn't just a custom in my collection (esp since the comms aren't on my custom and my LD player is long dead). There were 2 comm tracks on the laser, one with each Hughes Bro. and some other stuff. Here's a pic of the features from the back since I can only find tiny, unreadable scans online.

IIRC, the deleted scenes are close to nothing, but the videos are good.

Although I doubt the music videos will make it due to rights and all that, but you can check em on youtube.

Tyrin's performance is just definitely not Oscar worthy, but the rest of the movie makes up for it!

I think not enough people realize how big of a deal this is to be selected as a first batch release 4k criterion. It's a great film with a great opening and a Bill Duke cameo.

Be excited. Buy with confidence. This is the one I'm most excited for.

IMHO the theatrical cut flows better than the DC. The "petro" scene drags in the DC and kills the mood for me.
