I think that is what SRS does too. Hopefully word will get around. Do you plan on scanning any Turkish films?

I would love to do some Turkish film scans, but I know they are incredibly rare, and that some of them (like AGFA's THE SWORD AND THE CLAW) have only been able to get a release because there was an English language dub print floating around. But my eyes are always peeled - especially if it's some Cüneyt Arkin goodness.

I know Ed Glaser (@Neon_Harbor) owns a print of Turkish Star Wars and has done a scan of it, but that's one that legally is a pure impossibility, yet it may mean there's still hope for others!

Since VS is releasing New York Ninja does anyone know the status of the other John Liu directed movies? Are they something GNV might release? I’d love to own a physical copy of John Liu in Mexico.

I would love to see you release some of the Turkish erotica films that were produced during the 70s, with stars such as Zerrin Egeliler and Arzu Okay.

I'm a Matt Farley fan and have the Gold Ninja releases of his movies Local Legends and Don't Let the Riverbeast Get You. Yesterday I watched Slingshot Cops on DVD and afterward went to IMDb to see if I could find any of his other movies. I was surprised to read on the Motern Media wiki that the movie Obtuse Todd (2005) is included as a hidden bonus feature on the Local Legends Blu-ray.

I don't know if the disc menu has an Easter egg somewhere, but I was able to find the movie on the disc by randomly navigating the chapter menu on my player.

Anyway, I watched Obtuse Todd this evening and enjoyed it. It was shot in SD with almost no budget but has a crazy story that keeps getting crazier. I don't want to spoil it, but it involves love, a 14-year-old prank caller, songs about food, a coma, and fake drugs.

It's too bad the database here won't let us add bonus films to the BD entries. This isn't the first time that I've gone looking for a movie only to discover that I already own it as a hidden bonus feature on something else.

Thanks for the info, I can at least update the OP about the inclusion of the bonus film.

I believe every release is supposed to have a hidden bonus film, right?

I haven't searched all the GN releases I have, but i did find the one on the And God Said to Cain disc. It wasn't very difficult to find.

Is that true of all the movies that aren't PD? Both Local Legends and Don't Go Near the Riverbeast have bonus films that aren't hidden, so including the hidden one, Local Legends has three feature-length films on it. Personal Space Invader has the sequel as a bonus, but it's not hidden.

I'm not sure if it's all GN releases, or just the public domain ones.

I know And God Said to Cain has three movies on it. And God Said to Cain and The Moment to Kill are advertised on the cover, then there's a third hidden movie. I think it is Matalo.

And Justin has mentioned on his podcast that all releases have a bonus hidden film included. But not sure if that applies to "Director's Cult" releases and the like though.

DVDCompare tells you how to find most of the easter eggs too. Pretty cool to see some unexpected bonus films (and some on OOP titles I would have wanted).

I didn't know that more are on the way. Are Freaky Farley or Monsters, Marriage, And Murder In Manchvegas in the pipeline?

Freaky Farley is supposed to be the first release that's scanned from film after the Indiegogo to get the film scanner.

But it was edited on SD video, so it needs to be re-edited from scratch after they scan all the film elements. Might take a bit.

Looks dynamite. I'll have to hold off on ordering for a bit, though. Shipping to the US is what hits my wallet. I'd love a subscription pack. Sad I missed the indiegogo, but I didn't even learn about Gold Ninja until recently.

I placed my order today, along with grabbing A Sweet & Vicious Beauty!

Justin, do you have any plans of trying to get Gold Ninja Video discs onto sites like DiabolikDVD or GrindhouseVideo in the future? I know if shipping costs are a deterrent for some, my impression is that would be a workaround.

Put my pre-order in as well. I'm so thankful someone is out there rescuing these movies.

I'd be up for it! I just need to see how well the new scans do versus previous discs, because I'm still not quite selling enough copies for it to make sense to put a bunch of copies at wholesale on the market.

A SWEET AND VICIOUS BEAUTY is a delight! Hope you enjoy it.

Diabolik carried Impossible Horror, but I don't remember seeing any other Gold Ninja titles there.

Looks totally bonkers, guess I'll be needing to put in an order along with a few others I've been eyeing. Interested in seeing how the first 2K scan turns out.

This Thrilling Bloody Sword art makes me wish I'd have got the poster tier on the Indiegogo. I also really like the And God Said to Cain cover art and a couple others. And I collect posters. What the heck was I thinkin'?

[Show spoiler]I was thinking "gotta put this money towards sold out releases i missed."
