I have no idea. Apart from that sticker there is no difference to the way it was before. Nothing else attached etc.

Hm, don't get any DHL tracking ids that way. The DHL Paket link just brings me to the DHL tracking site where I need to enter an ID manually.
As it is now there is still one order that has not arrived. That one was deemed undeliverable on August 27 and received the undeliverable scan at Post NL on September 7 - one day after the package I mentioned above was first reprocessed there. Curious to see how this one plays out. And I'm even more conflicted now about what I should do with upcoming releases as I still would prefer DD due to the much better packaging quality. |

I also just had a blowit shipment in the mail: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...postcount=7340
Not the one I was expecting today, going by the tracking, but something. Red dot, no CN22 and Deutsche Post/DHL. I hope "Quiet Place II" will follow shortly. Having said that, it still feels like a lottery. |

EDIT: Double checked and can confirm, if I clear my browser cache. Since the link has no ID whatsoever indeed (I checked now), the stupid site obviously just loads whatever ID it previously stored in the local browser storage... Last edited by andreasy969; 09-10-2021 at 11:31 AM. |

And in case you missed my edit, my browser was playing tricks on me... EDIT: Oh, and I therefore do expect to receive "Quiet Place II" twice now. And I wouldn't be surprised at all, if the same will happen with "Labyrinth" - will keep watching the according tracking now. Last edited by andreasy969; 09-10-2021 at 12:38 PM. |

And I had 2 times "Quiet Place II" in the mail now.
![]() And as I said before, I do expect the same with "Labyrinth" now. And "Two Evil Eyes", for all I know, must've been Hermes earlier today then (?). (I guess I wrongly assumed dt. Post, since I didn't see any Hermes hints and they usually ring) Moral of the story: The DirectToU support has no clue what's happening with the shipments nor do they seem to actually look into it... |

(I'd like to add that sending stuff back to the US is madness cost wise anyway, since Deutsche Post doesn't allow Großbrief with other content than documents anymore... Hence me expecting a "keep it".) Last edited by andreasy969; 09-10-2021 at 05:10 PM. |

But, and again only speaking for Germany, there are some shipping issues lately, which might be Germany/Deutsche Post exclusive. Before that, I've used them for years and had no issues. Their support is somewhat slow though. Last edited by andreasy969; 09-10-2021 at 07:13 PM. Reason: support, not supply... |

One regular blowit order ("In the Heights") with blue dot and "Einschreiben Einwurf" stickers in the mail today.
![]() Plus my, according to wowhd, "lost" and shipped June 18 "Career Opportunities" BD. ![]() With this one, there's no red/blue dot and no "Einschreiben" sticker either, but a pink one with a blank white label stuck over it. If I carefully pull said white label off and hold it against the light, I can see it being a "Return CN 15" sticker having "Missing or deficient CN22/23 or EAD (ITMATT)" checked. Madness. EDIT: Since I have my hands on one pre-July and one post-July package now, I can also see another difference: Only the post-July one has a scanner symbol above the bar code and I'm pretty sure that's the case only lately (if it matters I don't know of course). But my best guess is that Deutsche Post didn't scan at all (which would've told them IOSS I suppose), but flat out refused because of lack of CN22, which still is nowhere to be found. Well ...
I contacted Deep Discount to cancel the Hollywood Legends of Horror collection. Originally, I had ordered this together with several other items back in June. My order seemingly never moved outside the US, and DD told me they would ship replacements. DD specified they were waiting for the Hollywood Legends of Horror collection to get back in stock so as to ship everything together. Yet last week, DD suddenly shipped all of the replacements without The Hollywood Legends of Horror collection. This is really annoying to me, because by splitting the order into several packages means that I will have to pay the courier's handling fee for every package. I therefore wrote to DD and asked them to cancel the replacement of the HLoH collection. Their answer? "The item is in backorder and will be shipped out when it arrives." Yes, DD, I know, that is why I wrote to you?! ![]() Furthermore, the rest of the replacements just arrived in Denmark. Of course I would have to pay local VAT and the handling fee for these, as DD's VAT collection for orders from Denmark does not work at all. But for some reason, DHL appear to have made an error in the math. Danish VAT is 25%, yet DHL wants to collect around $85 for VAT and fee on an order worth $150?! I cannot see how they have reached this number, but my guess is - as the order was marked as replacements with a value of $0 - they have simply just looked up the current prices, not taking into consideration that prices may vary from week to week, and prices have in general gone up on DD since June. I don't want to bother with anymore, so I have just asked DHL to return the package to Deep Discount. I will then ask DD to cancel the order completely. As long as none of the DirectToU sites appear to have implemented VAT collection on orders from Denmark, I will have to order everything from Amazon instead. |

And today I'm getting "The delivery of the item was unsuccessful" 6 days after "The item is being processed by customs" for my last open shipment again. It remains a total cluster **** and pure luck. And they solved/changed nothing.
Having said that, I still expect this one to arrive as well. With this one, I guess I won't even complain yet. I will complain with Deutsche Post again though. Speaking of which, did anyone receive a response from their "service" yet? I still didn't after almost 2 ****ing weeks... |

Thanks for confirming that this is still an issue. As dad as it is. And nope, not a word yet from their complaints department.

I just spoke with Deutsche Post on the phone again and it's completely pointless...
They can't see the reason why the stuff is going back, because the reason isn't stored in the system. Once it's back, the sender will see the reason (via a CN 15 for example), which basically leaves us with the just as useless DirectToU support. When I asked again re. said email: Once you get a response, they won't be able to tell you the reason anyway either lol. He also couldn't tell me how long it takes until you get a response, because different department. And to actually complain (because Selbstverzoller and should go to my customs office), you have to send a ****ing letter. Deutsche Post is the cause of this mess. |
