Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline, MA did screenings of Shutter Island at Medfield State Hospital on a couple occasions over the past year, where the movie was filmed. They set up a drive-in plot for it. I missed out, but it sounds awesome.

I once came home and found the thermostat/heating cranked to the max. It wasn't even winter. I think the oven was on and open too. All because my older brother was in the Fire Temple in Ocarina of Time. I would never do anything like this for a movie, game or whatever else.

I went to a special screening of A Clockwork Orange last year where everyone was straightjacketed with our eyes clamped open for the entire runtime.

It wasn't as fun as it sounds. The novelty wore off quick.

I know that at the HP Studio tour in the UK did a series of screenings where you served butterbeer and snacks. I think you got to watch the films in the Great Hall set.

I wouldn't do that for a movie I love.

- everyone in the audience is courteous. No talking during the movie, no cellphone use during the movie.
- the picture isn't too dark because the projector bulb isn't dimmed.
- the sound isn't too loud or too quiet.
- two matinee tickets purchased for a one o'clock showing aren't as much as buying the Blu-ray in two months.

I know; this is a pure fantasy. Dream big, I always say.

Brutal. Would rather see the film screened at the Korova Milkbar.
