I really liked the setup the last one gave us. I wanted a Purge Civil War showing it in a grand scale. Guess we won't get that.

I like how the director talks about previous, better directors "smuggling ideas" into film. The Purge films have all the subtlety of a sledgehammer to the face.

Maybe they focus on The Purge in another country that legalizes it? Or it starts spreading to neighboring countries.

James Demonaco revealed today that The Purge 6 is finally happening. The script went through many iterations over the last 5 years but they finally finished it and it has been turned into Jason.

Hoping to film later this year or early next year.
