Showtime's "Yellowjackets" (Season 3)

I'm really liking this show too and hope they can stick the landing for Season 1. The cast is just perfect from top to bottom. Glad to hear its already got a Season 2 and a plan for more seasons beyond that. I also have the feeling that this is kind of flying under the radar for a lot of people. Maybe it's the largely female cast, or the fact it's on Showtime, or that the show hasn't revealed exactly what it is yet and that may make it harder to market.

In any case I would highly recommend people try this thing out.

Totally agree! The cast is really great, with Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci delivering especially notable performances. I agree with your comment about sticking the landing - I hope the last two episodes deliver! I hadn't heard the show already got a second season, but that's great news. Makes me think we won't get all our questions answered in this season then. Gotta have some interesting threads to carry into the next season!

If you stream Showtime the "Sunday night" shows arrive Saturday night at 9 Pacific. Anyway I sure couldn't wait for E10 and was not disappointed. I love American Horror Story but Yellowjackets actually gives me the shivers.

It appears as if

[Show spoiler]Lottie started a clan out in the wilderness. Mari is probably the one they hung up in the flashback scenes during episode 1, she was wearing Jackie's necklace. The girl they apparently strung up and cut up had long flowing dark hair. Taissa or maybe even Lottie apparently has kept that clan going and turned it into an actual cult. That is of course if Lottie is still alive. It wasn't Jackie, because she was being chased and fell in a pit there was blood when they were dragging the body.

My biggest question is....

Why do I have this odd feeling the

was the bear Lottie killed and were in some hallucinating state but not from the Shrooms.

The way that bear just bowed to her was insane other than she has some sort of connection to the forest.

[Show spoiler]I don’t really have any complaints about the show except I wish it didn’t have the supernatural elements to it.

I wish it was more just the fact that they went crazy and turned against each other and one thing led to another, which it seems like is basically what happens, just with the supernatural stuff added in.

But it doesn’t really take away from it for me.

I binged it over the weekend. Thought it was ok and enjoyed most of it but wouldve preferred just straight up survival stuff and what people do to survive. Still, looking forward to S2.

Jackie is a useless character. Same goes for Javi.

I hate Shauna, both versions.

Present day Natalie and Misty are my fave characters. Old school Natalie is my fave too.

I dont care for any version of Taissa.

The finale sucked cause they dont say who the victim is from the first episode. At least we can assume Lotte is the leader tho.

Honestly the present day stuff doesnt really interest me all that much. Travis is dead boo hoo. And basically all that black mail stuff went nowhere since it turned out it was just Jeff. Unless that Adam guy factors into by being part of the cult, what was the point?

I dont care for the horror supernatural aspect of the show.

I always wait to binge a show like this until all the episodes are available as I don't like watching when it's one a week, so I just started watching this show last night. Got through the first two episodes and will do two a night for the week to end on Friday. So far, it's really good. Hearing that it is already set for a season 2, I am looking forward to whatever happens to cliffhang season 1.

manipulating the group and most of them falling for it. It being mass hysteria/delusion and the later seasons will probably shine a light on the reality vs the fantasy of the supernatural elements.
