Another Rankin/Bass movie/special that hasn't seen the light of day in many years.

If/when the Simpsons ends, it would be cool to get a collection of every Halloween episode.

I don’t think Diff’rent Strokes had any Halloween episodes and, if I’m not mistaken, only two or three Christmas episodes. And only one Thanksgiving episode or two.

Diff’rent Strokes is one of the greatest American and cultural icons and one of the greatest TV shows ever!

Witch's Night Out (1978) starring Gilda Radner. Hilarious half-hour animated short. One of my favorites. Primitive animation but one of the best. An earlier short by the same creator and featuring earlier versions of some of the same characters is The Gift of Winter, which is a very rare Christmas special. Both were remastered in HD a while back for streaming, as well as having a DVD release. Sadly no blu-ray.

Also, Ray Bradbury's animated "The Halloween Tree" is a must-watch. I've watched it every year since I discovered it. Scary, thrilling, moving and educational, with fantastic music and Leonard Nimoy. Released on DVD by Warner Archive.

1993. I didn't see it until the 2000's for the first time. It runs about an hour and 9 minutes. Absolutely one of the best Halloween specials ever. Witches Night out has also also been one of favorites, with a theme song guaranteed to stick in your head for the rest of the week.

A little early to revive this one but.....why not.

You never know what movies/TV shows you will discover on this site just by asking questions or by random comments.

I don't understand the question.

By definition, surely anything Halloween related is going to be horror related, no? Pretty much every title mentioned here certainly is.

I think they mean "family oriented" Halloween. So non-R rated gore horror.
