![]() Sadly I don't have a PS3. I tried their PS3 stream of the game, over PS Now, and if there's a way to get that in 3D I didn't see it. Although from what I saw of the game again, Tom Holland in the trailer jibes even less with Drake. |

Unfortunately yeah. The PS4 remaster removed 3D. Only a handful of PS4 games even support 3D. Yeah 3D is disabled in the PS3 version if your TV doesn't support it and I'm sure they have it set up to tell the game for PS Now that it's not supported.

![]() Edit: Looks like Killzone3 at least has an option for 3D TV on PS4, I'll have to see if that can work, but I don't have high hopes. Wish it just did SBS 3D like the Xbox 360. Last edited by Just_Discovered_3D; 01-09-2022 at 04:41 AM. |

You can play as humans or Navi'. Now that PS5 and XBSX can handle 3D much better, unfortunately games no longer offer 3D at this time. Hopefully again in the future. I have the Trine series, 1, 2 and 3 games in 3D on PS4 and those look amazing. Side scrolling medieval action/puzzle games. Very strong 3D possible when set to maximum 3D. I haven't played the 3D versions of the Uncharted games. ----------- On topic, the 3D will need to be great in order to get me into the theater for this film adaptation. The scene with the boat and the light in the cave is right from Uncharted 4. They mixed parts of the games into one movie it seems. It's rare though, when a movie story is better than the game's story. |

I am still halfway through Uncharted 3 in 3D, haven't been able to play it in a while but now that I have space to set up all my consoles I intend to play it again. It's much more immersive in 3D than in 2D (when the enemies are hunting you, their red laser sights come right out of the screen) but I remember the main problem with it is that the resolution is halved, which is why it's a crying shame that the PS4 version dumped the 3D instead of giving it to us in the game's full HD glory.
I've also got almost every other PS3 and PS4 3D game. Super Stardust and the Motorstorm games are favourites. These and other 3D games can be discussed in the non-movie 3D forums: 3D games Playstation 3 & 4 thread As for the Uncharted film. I'd buy a 3D Blu-ray of course but whether I'd drag myself to see it theatrically is another story. Not too keen on the casting so the 3D would have to be very good... |

Did Venom 2 have 3D posters? I’m pretty sure it didn’t mention 3D in its trailers as Sony has taken to just saying ‘premium formats’ as a catch all.

I can't tell you the specifics or dates for Venom 2, but I believe it did have IMDB credits and a stereo listing on DNEG's website before release. It had been delayed and probably completed for a while before. We knew it was coming in 3D. It had a variety of posters, some with 3D and some without. We got this one in May 2021:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7097896.../rm3113337089/ Ghostbusters: Afterlife didn't say 3D on any posters or have any conversion credits prior to release though. It did have a Facebook post from Real D UK, saying it would be in 3D. It wasn't, and I don't think Uncharted will be either. I trust posters less than internet credits (see The King's Man), but they are something, and so far, we have nothing for Uncharted (Wikipedia and sites repeating Wikipedia don't count), which is one month away. Clearly RealD UK social media has no inside info and just makes stuff up, like whoever submits to Wikipedia. https://www.reald.com/reald3d and social hasn't posted anything wrong, but they aren't breaking any news on the latest 3D conversions either.

Looks like this is another case of a 3D conversion never materialising, unless it's a China exclusive or something like that.
Should it somehow turn up somewhere I'll amend the thread title. |

Very foolish and disappointing to not have this one in 3D. It’s a perfect fit for this kind of movie and would have got me out the house to see it in 4DX, and to buy a disc if one materialised. Considering this had the same director as Venom it’s a glaring omission. I hope it was just ‘one of those things’ rather than a sign of Sony’s attitude towards even theatrical 3D going forward.

I think it's especially foolish to turn their backs on 3D now when VR looks set to explode into the mainstream soon... I expect certain studios are prepping for this by still having 3D conversions made, even if they aren't giving us discs. 3D VR movies is going to be mainstream enough eventually, given enough time.
