Hopefully a return to form with practical blood squibs. John Woo’s last film Manhunt (2017) was a massive disappointment. The cast has me a little worried, as I'm not a fan of Joel Kinnaman. I really hope it's awesome though.

This thing looks amazing. I saw the trailer in front The Expendables 4 and I had no idea Woo had a new film. At first, I thought it was going to be one of those straight-to-videos films Lionsgate has been churning out that they decided to give a theatrical release because of the strikes. Color me surprised and shocked when Woo's name came up. I am happy we are getting more gun movies outside of John Wick. We used to get them all the time but not so much anymore. It is a shame this is being released the same weekend as that Beyonce concert. This thing had a really big chance of hitting number 1 but not anymore unless Woo makes a masterpiece that everyone will want to see.

December 1st, 2023, next week already, Silent Night arrives in theaters from director John Woo, who made the classic Hard Target and of course other classic two hand gun films like Hard Boiled and The Killer. Mission Impossible 2 had his style all over it, fun action/thriller film. Face Off was interesting.

Will definitely see Silent Night in theaters.
I think Joel Kinnaman is a good action actor from the films I've seen of his so far. They say this is from a producer of John Wick, which I'd have to look into more.

The trailer looks like it'll have plenty of slow-motion in John Woo's style.

Hard Target with Van Damme and Lance Hendricksen (spelling) is an absolute classic, over-the-top, kick-@ss action film and a must-see IMO for diehard action fans.
