Syriana - Thought the trailer looked good. Dozed off a couple times, and only reason I stayed in it cause I thought it had to get better from here. It never did. I wanted my money back after that.
Charlies Angels: Full Throttle - Love the original, but this movie was just terrible. Only saving grace is the end credits car wash part. The Bad News Bears (2005) - Love the original, but just hated this one. Actually walked out 30 minutes in, and that's the only movie I've ever done that to. Two films that come to mind for me are Synecdoche New York and the original Last House on the Left.
Synecdoche was a well made movie with good visuals and acting but I just found it so philosophically repulsive. Last House on the Left had a decent story but I thought it was so obnoxious—it had the worst musical score I've ever heard for a film, the scenes involving the sherifs were excruciating, the acting was awful, and it completely wasted such a good premise. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre had roughly the same budget and was so artful, I thought Last House on the Left was truly terrible. I really thought it made Hills Have Eyes Pt. 2 look like a masterpiece. I know both movies have their fans but I'm definitely not one of them. |

It's rare for me to get angry about a movie. Even if a movie isn't as good as expected, I'll generally find something to appreciate.
But Glass. That did it. Finally followed up on Unbreakable just to literally stomp all over it. Ugh. Last edited by J999; 11-06-2021 at 05:23 AM. |

Ben Hur the remake (2016) - utter crap. Was this really necessary?

The movies that get me upset are ones that insult the intelligence of the audience.
The last one I watched that did that is Inside (2016) with Laura Harring, a remake of the very good French film of the same name. There are at least 5 times where the victim could have taken out the villain, but does not so the villain can keep chasing her. Definitely a movie where you yell at the screen a lot. |

Cat in the Hat with Mike Myers. I saw it for free and still walked out.

I’ve only left a cinema angry twice: Closer (2004) and The Last Jedi (2017)
