Edited.
I take it back. I wasn't in the right frame of mind watching the first time. It's not that bad. Last edited by Michael11; 11-23-2022 at 06:58 PM. |

Also created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone).
Just got done watching the first episode and it looks interesting, after all, it stars Stallone so I just had to. This ain't no Sopranos, but it'll do. |

The second episode was really good, and the scene where cash wasn't accepted kind of felt like a hard pill to swallow. Because they're beginning to do it in real life.

I would like to see more plot than the current "fish out of water" which domiates this show.

![]() Plenty of other plot threads starting to simmer though (the mob, his family, the ATF, his driver's dad will probably start asking questions at some point, & there's that cowboy dude who's terrified of him) Second episode was a lot funnier than the first. The stoned rant about pronouns felt a bit shoe-horned in, but other than that, liked it. ![]() |

He's paying the driver 8k a month and he can't afford to move out and get his own place? Rent in Tulsa must be rough.

I'm enjoying the hell out this series, Stallone just playing himself poking fun at modern life. When he's stoned on the way back from the weed supplier and talking about pronouns

I like the way the supplier said "And those apricot PREEEE-SERVES you just ate..." made me chuckle. I thought it was honey. lol

The acting? The acting is just fine.
This is a comedy show, not an adaptation of Shakespeare. I've seen the first 2 episodes, and I enjoyed this. Some funny moments here and there. I like Stallone and I like the character he's playing in this show. I'll be watching the rest of the season for sure. |

![]() This doesn't come anywhere close to the Sopranos, but can say it already feels better than Ray Donovan. |
