People don't hate Cruise; they just love hating on him. There's a difference. He wouldn't be a bad actor if heavyweights like Scorsese, PTA, Stone, Mann, Kubrick, Spielberg, and Tarantino (original choice for Pitt's role in Hollywood) didn't want him.

Not true. His acting's fine, but his frenzied advocating for a non-religion that literally enslaves people is kind of unforgivable even if they did give him a nice shiny motorbike.

Not a fan of WOWS. Starts off at a high pitch but looses gas pretty quickly and I was frankly annoyed by Leo D's Ray Liotta impression.
