Watching all these Western shows makes me wish I could go back in time and no, I don't mean to say "Those were the good ol' times." because they definitely weren't, though I'd take that over what we have now.

But time machines aren't actually real so it doesn't matter much. lol

Didn't watch the trailer, since I prefer to go into things blind, but I'll definitely be watching this when it comes out soon.

I did watch 1893, and I liked that a lot, so hopefully this will be just as good.

The main series, yellowstone, never caught on with me though, so I haven't been watching that.

If we get the Ford that did the newer star wars i will agree with the previous poster claiming he has lost much of his fast ball. His age was very apparent imo during those star wars movies and he has not gotten any younger since. Im hoping it is just because, well it's disney star wars and there was really not much effort put into it since his part was rather minor in it.

I think this kind of show can be right up his ally if he still has it in him..

When was his last movie where it wasn't obvious he was only there for the money?

That actually might help him in this role. I'm getting real "Tired of this shit" vibes from his photo.

I haven't seen a single episode of Yellowstone. Should I start with this, or watch Yellowstone first?

If you’ve going to dive in for chronological viewing then start with 1883, then 1923 and Yellowstone

Wonder if we'll get any 1923 flashbacks on Yellowstone like they did with 1883, or if any 1883 flashbacks in 1923. I'm still kind of surprised they sprinkled in the
[Show spoiler]James Dutton death scene
randomly in a Yellowstone episode that had nothing to do with 1883's storyline or anything. And even more that they did it before 1883 had even finished IIRC.

I think Paramount needs to do an infographic with a family tree using photos from all three shows and not names, because I get confused trying to put names to different actors...

Not nearly as bad as The White Queen/The White Princess/The Spanish Princess from Starz though, those are all connected but none use the same actors even, so I'm just like "...and who is this again...?" the whole time lol

Nice. Watched the pilot episode and there's a huge potential.

Is this going to make any sense if I haven't watch the other Yellowstone series?

Curious to see Ford do TV.

Hard to tell after one episode, but it doesn't seem to be very connected, being 40 years later. They might have some dialogue about the characters but it'll probably be throwaway at best.

1883 is definitely worth checking out though even if you're not interested in Yellowstone, they're completely different stories. If it hadn't had the last name Dutton or end up in Montana, there'd be no universe connections at all.

Default Matches 1883's western grandeur

Just saw 1923 Episode 1.

this show is definitely having a promising start. some good writing there.

Can it match 1883's urgency in storytelling and writing, we'll get this answered once Dalton's character show up.

this is a solid start.
