I thought this was the thread to chat while we watch the game.

Anyway, saw the new GMC Yukon Hybrid commercial. The first non-HD commercial in this year's Super Bowl I noticed. So old technology.

Well, the HD-DVD ad just aired a minute ago.

It was the same dumb commercial they've had for awhile, with the dudes jumping off of their couch while watching HD-DVDs.

They changed the movies (no Warner titles anymore!).

The funniest part...it wasn't even in HD!

hmm It must of not aired in Virginia because I didn't see it and i double checked using DVR.

Ya know why I, and a lot more people didn't see it. It's HALFTIME! Time for a potty break, grab a bear and some more wings. Ugh! An HD-DVD commercial that isn't even in HD. I'm surprised they didn't break out the Dreamworks commercial. That at least looks a little professional. Maybe that was a last minute substitute? Could the Dreamworks ad have been pulled for reasons unknown?

.Im on DTV dish using a 15$ antenna plugged into DTV DVR receiver and local HD feed is had

It has ever since the "wardrobe malfunction." (not that Britney Spears was much better, but the Aerosmith part of it was pretty cool) Apparently they feel that the delayed broadcast is not enough, and they need to implement crappy programming as well, just to be safe. Wasn't that a petty challenge on the "too many men" call against NY? The guy was, no way in hell, going to be part of the play. Therefore, it shouldn't have been called. I would have slapped the challenging coach upside the head and told him to quit being a damn childish little puke.

While I want very much for the giants to win, I think that was absolutely the right challenge to make.

Shame on the giants for that one.

Has been a good game thus far, not a blow out like many hoped!
