As much as I would love to walk into a local retailer to buy some Blus (easier, faster, more convenient) they are always wayyy to expensive. Well, not always, but most of the time Amazons prices are much better. And it sucks. I want to be able to go to a store to buy Blus. Why can't these stores match Amazon prices!!

Very limited selection. I own every title Walmart has. But if it works for you, cool. |

When the "war" first kicked off I was buying entirely online as local stores seemed to not carry any BD what-so-ever. As the format has matured I decided that I wanted to help make the decision for my local retailers. I figure the few extra bucks I spend buying titles at Wal-Mart and BB might help persuade them to drop HD-DUD support. It seems to be working as all of my local stores seem to be moving to Blu's favor (see my other thread https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=34624 ).

blu-ray prices are a joke over here if you visit a shop,
sometimes nearly double the internet price which is shocking, the only ones i have bought from a shop are the older BDs, such as Into the Blue and Black Hawk Down, as they are similar to the internet price. |

I buy most of my disc from Amazon, you gotta love Prime shipping and no tax also sometime you get it on the actual release date or even the next.
Second choice for me is Walmart....good prices on disc weeks after relase date. Last is Best Buy.....BOGO sale or if I have a coupon or sales of certain titles. C.C...sale on certain title or Bogo.. |
