Happy to see Viggo is involved. If he brings back Naomi Watts as well, we could have a Eastern Promises reunion with Viggo and Vincent.

He is 2 years older than Cronenberg. Is that too old to be allowed to work for you? Who says he is retired? He was ready to shoot Crimes of the Future but there was visa issues.

I believe this starts shooting this week. Hope he can knock it out as fast as he did 'Crimes'.

Sadly, it's rumored that Diane Kruger is replacing Lea Seydoux. I hope that's wrong, and that maybe they're just both in the film.

Sounds interesting. "To watch the departed/deceased decompose in real-time", I wonder what the advantage would be in that sense?

A fascination with the process of death would be my guess. Obsessions and disturbing curiosities are a common theme in his films.
