Pretty good movie. One of the last DeNiro made before he became a self-parody.

I’d say it was part of the first batch of films where he became a self-parody. His last ‘good’ years were 1997 and, to a lesser extent, 1998 with Jackie Brown and Ronin respectively. It was then almost all shite or bland as hell - like The Score - for the next two decades.

Surprised they're releasing this, considering the nature of Edward Norton's role in a hyper-sensitive world...

One can only hope Kino will double down and release Primal Fear on UHD as well.

I always felt the character he played in Jackie brown was rather bland.

It shouldn’t be an issue. It’s already out digitally in 4K DV.

I love this film. A great one for both De Niro and Norton.

Probably why Paramount passes them on to other labels, lol.

Oh I just saw the "by Paramount Pictures" at the top and assumed they were releasing this themselves.

I quite liked it.
Hopefully it will lead to the release of 'Primal Fear' and 'Death To Smoochy' on UHD.

It's maybe not peak DeNiro but I certainly wouldn't lump it in with the lesser stuff he 's done. Although Norton does easily walk away with the movie.

Yep, Norton owns this movie. So good.

And, Paramount, please, pretty please, give us Chinatown on UHD. Or give it to KL ffs. Or Criterion. Or Arrow...

There really shouldn't be a big issue with his role as his character was not poking fun at anyone with any kind of disability or "special needs", however you want to put it.

Seem to remember reading/hearing that Brando didn’t get on with Frank Oz on the set of The Score, and ended up just referring to Oz as “Miss Piggy”

This movie flies under the radar a lot, but it's actually a solid heist thriller with a great cast.
