Just got my preorder in! I got the previous BD via Diabolik a few months ago and I promised myself I wouldn't upgrade EVERY BD to UHD but I couldn't resist this time around.

I'm a little worried here. I already paid for my preorder and now the disc has completely vanished from their site. Does anyone know what's going on?

Same here. They were still taking more preorders just two weeks ago. I hope this didn't fall apart.

It's a chance I'm willing to take. I need to read reviews here before purchasing from a label with a track record like Code Read/Dark Force.

Looks like I am getting into the Dark Force Entertainment 4K game a bit late. I got Scream and Final Exam, but it looks like Dead Pit is sold out.

I understand that there may be more coming, but can some answer this question for me?

Do all the 1,000 copies pressed contain a glow-in-the-dark slipcover, or is that even more limited?

You can buy Dead Pit 4K but it's very expensive on eBay. I don't like these buyers. I would be happy to buy if someone would sell for 40 - 60 USD. And yes, maybe we'll wait to get a better release with DTS 5.1 sound. There are possibilities, maybe a German release or a UK release.

German releases are available for years on Blu-ray already. And they come with Dolby Digital Mono audiotracks. I don't expect DTS 5.1 for Dead Pit in years to come.

Yes very solid. Probably one of DF's best efforts. Leaves the old blu ray in the dust looking slightly blurry, faded, and tired in comparison. The uhd looks quite a bit more filmic in motion than the caps even suggest. I grabbed the uhd when it first released. No regrets.
